Designed to reduce or eliminate ice buildup for most Samsung french door model refrigerators. Ice buildup may cause:

• Refrigerator cabinet not cooling properly
• Refrigerator cabinet with water in drawers
• Refrigerator making noise due to ice on the evaporator fan
• Ice buildup inside refrigerator cabinet

This kit does not replace any part in your refrigerator. If you have a broken fan, or bad defrost heater rod, this kit will not replace those components. If the fan and heater rod are operating correctly and your refrigerator still has ice buildup, this secondary heater kit may be the solution.
